Driveway Permit Update 2026
The annual update campaign for temporary and permanent driveway permits (vados) in Alicante is approaching. Please note the following:

No prior appointment is required (for the collection of more than 10 driveway permit numbers, it is recommended to call the company in advance to speed up the process).

Driveway permit sticker collection hours are MONDAY TO FRIDAY from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Documentation to be submitted (digital format is accepted):
- If the tax IS NOT PAID by direct debit: you must present the PAYMENT LETTER together with the PROOF OF PAYMENT THAT INDICATES THE TAX REFERENCE NUMBER or the BANK STAMP.
- If the tax IS PAID by direct debit: it will be charged at the beginning of April, and you must present the BANK RECEIPT issued a few days after the charge, showing the driveway permit number, which depending on the bank may appear as the last four digits of the Unique Reference Number or Mandate Reference.

IMPORTANT: Any other document, such as charge notifications, bank account movements, account transaction details, POS receipts, SMS messages, emails or bank passbooks, ARE NOT VALID.

The company has no way of checking whether the driveway permit fee is up to date.

It is not necessary to present an ID, nor to be the permit holder.

If you require a bill, you must request it by email at clientes@akrasenal.com, indicating the purchase ticket number and billing details.

The stickers cost €10 (VAT included) per driveway permit, and the company accepts payment by bank card.
